We replace the old roof line and pack out the roof timbers to make a straight line. We remove the first row of roof tiles and install an over fascia plastic protection. Sometimes a bird comb is required depending on the type of tiles.
As you can see by the photo below the felt is always worn on the edges. The over fascia vent and eaves protection goes under the felt and overlays into the guttering, protecting your timbers including a vent strip to prevent condensation in the loft. If the tiles are small or flat we install some damp proof course under the tiles.
